Further Evidence on the Occurrence of Chamaeleo gracilis on Mt. Longido, N Tanzania

A further record of the occurrence of the Slender Chameleon, Chamaeleo gracilis 

in the extreme N of Tanzania, Mt. Longido, 

was provided by the local Maasai guides, 

the specimen is a female in gravid color phase (April, 2025).

The locals fear the chameleons, considering them bad luck if encountered.
