Snakes, chameleon predators
The snakes are one of the most frequent chameleon predators. Some of them even specialize on them.
Mainly, the chameleon predator snakes are the diurnal arboreal species (but some nocturnal and terrestrial species feed on them too) of the genera: Ahaetula, Atheris, Bitis, Boiga, Coluber, Dendroaspis, Dipsadoboa, Dispholidus, Elaphe, Elapsoidea, Hapsidophrys, Hemirhagerrhis, Ithycyphus, Langaha, Madagascarophis, Macrophistodon, Naja, Stenophis, Psammophis, Philothamnus, Rhamnophis, Thelotornis, Thrasops, Telescopus, Zamenis.
